Ceremonies performed: Weddings, Funerals

I think it is important that those who live without religion should be able to celebrate the important events in their lives. That's why I am a celebrant.
I have been a celebrant for 12 years now and feel very privileged to have been a part of every wedding and funeral ceremony.
I worked as a community worker in Ayrshire for a number of years, then in West Dumbarton and subsequently retired after working with a charity supporting people with Acquired Brain Injury.

I choose to make limited use of Social media as I don't feel comfortable with showing people's ceremonies. I really prefer to talk directly to anyone interested in a wedding.
If you would like to have a chat about a ceremony please contact me , or just leave a message and I'll get back to you.

Wedding & Civil Partnership Ceremonies

I’m now in my 11th year of being a wedding celebrant. I've really enjoyed being part of all the weddings. Whether they have taken place in a barn, a castle, a village hall, a back garden or a hotel. From simple weddings with only 5 people, to larger affairs with 200, every one has been different, reflecting what the couple want for their day. Many couples have commented that their ceremony has been exactly what they wanted.
Here are some comments from a few of the couples I have been lucky to have been involved with
"Thanks you for being our Humanist and for the making our experience so special in the build up to the big Day .....and how you embraced our odd suggestions" Jes and Chris
"A big Thank You Graeme ,you made the ceremony unique and people still talk about it" Scott and Gemma
"Thanks you so much...you went above and beyond what we ever expected...." Kate and Ronnie

Funeral Ceremonies

I have also been the celebrant at many funerals and have always tried to make sure that family and friends feel that the person they have lost is remembered in a way that is a reflection of their life and of their contribution to the lives of others.
