Ceremonies performed: Weddings

I've been a Humanist Celebrant since 2007 and find it extremely satisfying work that I truly love!
I've over 40 years experience of working with people of all ages, in groups and one to one, in social work, community work, youth work and mental health. I'm a trained Art Therapist, and was part of our local mental health team for many years, as well as teaching stress management.
I feel very lucky to be living in wonderfully wild and beautiful Argyll, and also regularly enjoy city breaks in Glasgow visiting my two adult children.
Humanism means equality; we are all equal. As William Gladstone said; 'When the power of love replaces the love of power, then we shall know peace in this world'.

Wedding & Civil Partnership Ceremonies

I absolutely LOVE conducting weddings, having conducted over 500 for couples from all over the world, and I feel it an enormous privilege to be a part of such a special day!
I will be retiring in 2025, and until then I will be mainly focusing on small weddings and elopements. I always do my very best to help you to have the ceremony you really want, making it as unique and personal I can. If practical we can meet up, or Skype/zoom if not, and in the time frame we have available, we will work together to make this as meaningful and special for you as possible.
I will guide and help with the choices of music, readings, vows, symbolic gestures, etc. as much or as little as you require.
Please get in touch and we can chat more about it!
