Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have the privilege of living in a beautiful part of the North Highlands, and having been born and raised in Easter Ross, I now find myself living near to my home town with my husband, 2 daughters, 2 Jack Russell's and a rather large cat. I have however lived all over the Highlands and Islands due to my husbands work (Brora, Gairloch and the gorgeous South Uist!) and have also lived in Edinburgh for many years before children.
Despite having a degree in Archaeology I never pursued my Indian Jones career and instead found a role working for Local Authorities as a Welfare and Benefits Officer, and an adviser for the Citizens Advice Bureau, before taking up the role as an Assistant Registrar a few years ago. However prior to becoming a responsible adult, my husband and I adorned our backpacks and travelled the world!

I consider it a wonderful honour now to be a Humanist Celebrant and to help create precious memories for those in need of a celebrant, no matter the occasion.
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs, so that we can create your own personal and individual ceremony.

Wedding & Civil Partnership Ceremonies

There are few of life’s milestones that match the joy and significance of a wedding. It’s a day that will be etched in couples minds forever and will be a source of great memories for a lifetime. It therefore deserves a very special and very unique ceremony.
How you want to have your wedding is completely your choice..the dress, guests, venue and of course the celebrant! My aim is to provide you with that unique ceremony that reflects you as a couple. It can be tailored to your needs, personality and expectations. After all it is your big day! A humanist ceremony is all about the couple and quite rightly so. It will be my job to create the perfect ceremony for your special day by listening to what you want. Alternatively If advice is what you need for your big day then I will be happy to assist.
It could be just an intimate gathering on your favourite beach or a grand occasion with hundreds of friends and family. Either way, it would be an honour to be your celebrant on your big day and help create those lasting memories.

Funeral Ceremonies

The loss of a loved one is of course a deeply emotional time for loved ones and friends. It is of course only natural that you would wish to mark the passing of such an important person in your life with a fitting and meaningful ceremony. It is my job to create that ceremony in a way that reflects their life and achievements, and what they meant to those around them. It is a real honour to be invited to conduct a memorial service on behalf of a bereaved family. During this time we will work together recalling many stories and those milestone events in that person's life before creating a meaningful service. If you feel a humanist ceremony would be a fitting and respectful memorial for that special person who has passed please get in touch.
