Ceremonies performed: Weddings, Funerals

I am married with two children, 2 dogs (had 8 at one point, I love dogs), 3 cats and one husband, David. I live in rural Stirlingshire where I have bred springer spaniels. My Profile picture is me and Mutley, he's the dad of the puppies from our two litters.

We also recently lost our beloved Springer Rocky...who set fire to the house....now that's a story!!

All the pets love love a chat and a cuddle apart from Pickles the cat who wants to eat you....but she's still adorable. We have also had litters of kittens, bunnies and guinea pigs. It's all go here!

I hail from Greenock but have lived here in the glorious Trossachs for over 28 years. I originally worked in accountancy but 22 years ago my husband and I started our own consulting business and I was able to be at home with my children, which I've loved. It was around the time my kids were small that I rekindled my love of drama and helped start up a theatre company in my area. It's something I'm passionate about and now I'm more involved in directing than performing, and all the people I work with are fantastic. I'm hugely interested in music, drama, poetry and the arts... I would describe myself as an animal and fun loving 'People Person'.

Being a celebrant is an incredibly rewarding job. My aim is to make each ceremony completely individual and to really bring out that person's personality. Humanist Funerals are a celebration of a life and I always try to capture the essence of that life, whether it has been short or very long.

Humanist Weddings are very personal to each couple and I will always make sure every couple has exactly what they want for their big day. I have a relaxed and fun approach, nothing stressful in the process or deadlines to meet (unless it's the day before the wedidng!) You do things in your own time and I'll work around you.
My ceremonies are poignant and serious in the parts they need to be. Whether large or small, I love weddings and getting to know my couples....it's an honour to be part of their day.

Wedding & Civil Partnership Ceremonies

For me, to conduct weddings is such a privilege and honour to be part of a couples' special day. I like to think I inject a blend of humour and capture the personalities of the couple as much as possible. Celebration is the order of the day and it's important for the wedding party and their guests to feel the wedding has been tailor made just for them and is as formal or informal as they want. I also want everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable and enjoy this most important and joyous part of their day.
